Tokyo, 16 oct - 4 nov Make it fat, make it precious, make it rough, make it glossy, make it colorful, make it YOUR OWN Moleskine notebook.
Five partner bookstores and design stores in Tokyo will collect
decorated notebooks through special Moleskine drop boxes.The author of
the most amazing notebook, selected by the jury, will be invited to the
next myDetour city in 2010. A selection of 10 notebooks will be
published on the permanent online gallery.
myDetour is a travelling project with previous stops in New York, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Istanbul, San Francisco (upcoming: 10 sept - 1 oct 2009).
Some of the best notebooks collected from previous cities will be shown in the five partner stores. Works collected from New York will be at Cibone Aoyama, notebooks from Milan will be at Aoyama Book Center, from Paris at Spiral Records, from Berlin at Nadiff, from Istanbul at Tsutaya.
myDetour takes place in most cities together with Detour, the Moleskine notebook exhibition with contributors of international renown, at MoMA Design Store Tokyo 15 oct -4 nov.
