Discover the Moleskine Detour Custom Edition Notebook designed by FAUST, featuring a message on the importance of creativity. The words “Creativity is an Act of Defiance”, reference a mural the artist painted in Berlin in 2016 on the facade of the Urban Nation Museum. Available online in a limited run of 20 copies.
Born and bred in New York City, FAUST’s artwork channels the ethos of street culture and a clandestine artform that saw it’s rise on the New York subways and spread across the globe. Garnering recognition for public art, the formal qualities of FAUST’s murals explore scale and placement to challenge how viewers perceive graffiti.
Profits from each notebook will fund the Creativity Pioneers Fund, a special initiative from the Moleskine Foundation, providing resources to organizations around the globe that use creativity to power positive social transformations.
